On Sunday, The Big Day, we arrived at the Benedict Castle in Riverside at 2:00 to start taking pre-wedding photos. Although Er!c was one of the groomsmen you won't see many pics of him since he took most of these photos. The wedding started at 5'ish with a live string quartet and vocalist. The reception was held outside the chapel in an open-air patio, complete with a catered sit-down meal & jazz trio. Jay and Christina finally drove away in his white Porsche 911 at 9'something (perhaps it was 9:11)...
All in all, it was a beautiful wedding! Congratulations Jay and Christina.

California Trip [Day3]
On Sabbath afternoon a group of us went for a hike in the hills overlooking the Loma Linda hospital. We were also accompanied by Sukia & Duku (our canine companions). Along the way we saw lots of poison oak & jimson weed.
That evening we went to the Chan Shun Pavilion on the Loma Linda campus, for the wedding rehearsal dinner.
California Trip [Day2]
On Friday we drove up into the nearby mountains and explored Lake Arrowhead.
The above panoramic photo is looking down over Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Redlands, etc... And those two trees on either side are actually cell phone towers.
California Trip [Day1]
We just got back from a week-long trip to California for Jay and Christina's wedding. I took WAY too many photos, and am now trying to figure out which ones to post (or rather, NOT to post). On Thursday we flew to California with a short layover in Dallas where we met up with David Darnell who joined us for the last leg of the trip. Shortly after arriving, the guys got together and went out to the Speed Zone for a night of go-cart racing for Jay's bachelor party.
These weren't your average go-carts... You had to have a valid driver's license to drive the faster ones. They even had some 300 horsepower dragsters that would go from zero to 70 mph in 3 seconds! What a rush!

The Cuteness Factor
Last week I posted some photos of beh-beh ducks down by the river. Well, I decided to submit them to Cuteoverload.com (our daily dose of cuteness), and today we discovered that they actually posted them! Whoohoo!!!

Spring Harvest
This evening we went out and picked blueberries and green beans from our garden. We even picked a couple peas and a yellow raspberry. Soon we will also be harvesting cucumbers, tomatoes and squash. I doubt we'll get very much broccoli though because the bunnies have already trimmed them down to the stalks -- but, our cabbage might make it. :)
