Sabbath was very relaxed and laid back day. Church was canceled for the SonRise Easter pageant in C'dale, so we enjoyed a quiet morning at home with the cats instead. After a late lunch we spent some time out on the deck in the sun with the cats. They seemed to really enjoy being outside the confines of the house, sniffing strange smells and chasing bugs.
Later in the afternoon Todd came over and carpooled with us downtown to Coolidge Park where we met up with Gil & Jen and explored the new addition to the park until it got dark (and cold). We then decided to eat supper at the Mudpie Cafe, followed up by ice cream at Clumpies.

Peaches & Fireworks
Later that afternoon we joined our friends Jen & Gil for a nice afternoon walk by the river followed by supper at The Mudpie Cafe. We then walked out onto the Market St. Bridge overlooking the Riverbend Music Festival where we listened to
the Bachman-Cummings Band concert down below us while we waited for the spectacular Riverbend fireworks show! (The above link is a video taken from the "walking bridge" (Walnut St. Bridge). In this video you can see the Market St. Bridge in front of the fireworks (where we were). We were standing by the blue drawbridge section (to the left), and strangely enough we happen to know the people in this random YouTube Riverbend video!)
I think we quite possibly had the best view in town, with the Riverbend festival to our left and the fireworks to our right! (map)
